As I finished this last semester of 27 credits, Kristin decided she would plan a trip for the two of us to get away and relax before we jump into the summer calendar. We left May 11th for South Carolina to visit Kristin's Uncle and Aunty. Other than that we didn't have a whole lot planned other than we knew we wanted to read a couple books. I know reading sounds like the last thing a graduate would want to do right after final exams, but when your obligated to read so many text books you don't ever get to read the books you're interested in.
Anyways the book I read was "In A Pit With A Lion On A Snowy Day" by Mark Batterson. The majority of the book talks about overcoming your fear when facing life's greatest opportunities. Although Batterson explains that some of life's greatest opportunities are also some of our biggest challenges, fears and obstacles. He goes on to say that it's in those moments that we realize we truly need God. And when we recognize that God, exposes our potential as well as our ability to succeed.
Basically what I'm saying is this is a great book, and if you're looking for a good book to read this would be a great choice.
