Summer Camps

Last week we took a bus full of Junior Highers to camp in Alexandria MN. And even though I say it all the time, I have to repeat it once again, "I have the best job in the world!"

This year's theme is Life, in which for most of us especially our Junior Highers "Life" can be extremely confusing and complicated. Although as the week concluded and we headed home the results were pretty obvious. And even though "Life" is still confusing and complicated, most of our students returned home with a different outlook on the life they've been given as well as the way they choose to live it. In fact on the way home one of the students was telling me he feels like a new person. When I asked him what changed? He said, "I rediscovered the Hope in following Jesus, and up until this week I've been living hopelessly." Collin Blair age 13.

This coming Monday we leave for Senior High Camp, and my one prayer is that they will re/discover the Hope in following Jesus..... Thanks Collin :)
